About Me
I embraced Christianity in 1976 while performing in the musical Godspell, and my passion for theater and God has remained strong ever since. I've developed dramas for both domestic and international mission trips, including a full musical play, and my service has taken me to places like Brazil, England, Wales, the Bahamas and Guatemala, where I’ve marveled at God's breathtaking creation.
Having lived in several U.S. states, including Illinois, Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Maryland, Florida, North, and Michigan, I love exploring new experiences and appreciate diversity. My journey with God has been nothing short of an adventure.
After being a single parent to three daughters for ten years, I married my husband, and together we've raised a blended family of seven over the past 21 years I can personally attest to the truth in Psalm 147:3: “He (God) heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.”
With 30 years of experience counseling multicultural populations through various clinical agencies, I specialize in trauma treatment and have a deep passion for restoring relationships and families. I work with youth and adults facing issues like depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem challenges, and marital difficulties, using an eclectic approach. I'm currently credentialed as an ordained Chaplain with the I.F.O.C., providing community ministry, and our non-profit organization offers holistic treatment with a spiritual focus upon request.
