About Me
I became a Christian in 1976 while performing in a musical called Godspell. My love for theater and God has never left me. I’ve created dramas for foreign and domestic mission trips and a full musical play. Serving on the mission field has taken me to Brazil, England, Wales, the Bahamas, and Guatemala. God's creation is breathtaking!
I’ve been blessed to have lived in several US states including Illinois, Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Maryland, Florida, North Carolina, and Michigan. I love exploring new things and enjoy diversity. Life with God is truly an adventure.
When I met my husband, I had been a single parent of three girls for 10 years. We now have been married for 21 years and together have raised a blended family of seven. I have first-hand knowledge that “He (God) heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147: 3).
I have 30 years of experience counseling multi-cultural populations with various problems for numerous clinical agencies. My specialties lie in the areas of trauma treatment and addictions. I also have a passion to see relationships and families restored. I work with youth and adults for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use recovery, self-esteem and confidence problems, and marriage and family difficulties using an eclectic approach. I am currently credentialed as an ordained Chaplain with the I.F.O.C. to provide ministry in the community. Our non-profit ministry provides holistic treatment with a spiritual orientation upon request.
